Is the degree I earn in RAK the same as the one in the UK?

Yes. You will be awarded a degree from the University of Stirling, UK. It carries the same prestige and academic weight as if you had studied at our home campus in Scotland.

What are the English language requirements?

If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need to show proof of proficiency. The university accepts several tests, including an IELTS 6.0 (with at least 5.5 in each sub-skill), TOEFL (78 overall), or equivalent scores in PTE and Duolingo. The university provides IELTS waiver for international students by considering their 12th English score.

How do the merit scholarships work?

If you have a high school average of 90% or above, you can get AED 10,000 off your first year. For those between 75% and 90%, we offer AED 5,000. These are adjusted against your second-semester fees.

Is there a transportation facility to the campus from other Emirates?

Absolutely. University buses run daily between the RAK campus and all other Emirates. Depending on where you’re coming from, the commute usually takes between 45 minutes and an hour.
